Lead Data Modeller

Infosys is seeking a senior Technology Lead - Lead Data Modeller.

In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ON / Montreal, Quebec(Canada) or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • 7+ years of experience as Data Modeler, expertise in Erwin, Datavault
  • Designing and implementing data modeling solutions using relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases. Working closely with data architects, they develop bespoke databases utilizing a mixture of conceptual, physical, and logical models.
  • Perform data profiling/analysis activities that helps to establish, modify and maintain data model

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices
  • Strong knowledge Data structures, Data Engineering concepts, Algorithms, Collections, Multi-threading and memory management and concurrency
  • Experience in large scale cloud data migrations using Databricks, Python, Spark, SQL.
  • Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks
  • Experience in Banking/Financial domain
  • Good to have experience in Snowflake
  • Strong communication and Analytical skills
  • Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams
  • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment

Conception et mise en œuvre de solutions de modélisation de données utilisant des bases de données relationnelles, dimensionnelles et NoSQL. En étroite collaboration avec les architectes de données, développement de bases de données sur mesure utilisant une combinaison de modèles conceptuels, physiques et logiques.

Réalisation d’activités de profilage et d’analyse de données contribuant à l’établissement, à la modification et à la maintenance du modèle de données.

Qualifications souhaitées :

Solides connaissances des modèles et pratiques de conception en génie logiciel.

Maîtrise des structures de données, des concepts d'ingénierie des données, des algorithmes, des collections, du multithreading, de la gestion de la mémoire et de la concurrence.
Expérience des migrations de données à grande échelle vers le cloud avec Databricks, Python, Spark et SQL.

Bonne compréhension des méthodologies agiles de développement logiciel.
Expérience dans le secteur bancaire/financier.
Expérience avec Snowflake appréciée.
Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et à l'analyse.
Capacité à travailler en équipe dans un environnement multiculturel et multipartite, composé d'équipes métiers et techniques.
Expérience et intérêt pour le travail dans un environnement de prestation de services international.
