Lead Data Scientist

Role Overview: You will be responsible for owning end-to-end discovery, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of analytical models while communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will identify relevant data sources and recommend appropriate statistical, ML, and predictive modeling concepts. Your role will involve utilizing various machine learning techniques to create innovative models for revenue management and commercial planning in the Retail space. Collaboration with clients, project management, and other team members will be essential for successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end discovery, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of analytical models - Identify relevant internal and external data sources and recommend appropriate statistical, ML, and predictive modeling concepts - Apply various machine learning techniques to real-world scenarios - Design and build innovative models for revenue management and commercial planning in the Retail space - Work on Market Intelligence, optimization, anomaly detection, simulation, and stochastic models - Collaborate with Clients, Project Management, Solution Architects, Consultants, and Data Engineers - Guide junior data scientists and maintain high coding standards within the organization Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in Data Science and Analytics - 2+ years of experience applying analytics to the Retail space - Strong programming skills in Python and/or R - Proficiency in handling and processing large amounts of data - Deep knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms - Experience in building scalable ML frameworks - Strong presentation and communication skills - Masters degree in a relevant field such as computer science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or Operations Additional Details: o9 Solutions is a rapidly growing technology company with a mission to digitally transform planning and decision-making for enterprises.
