This role reports to the strategy leader, but will have high visibility across multiple functional leaders, including Product, Clinical Ops, Medical Affairs, and Network Contracting.</p><p></p><p>This role will have the unique opportunity to guide a new, condition-centered approach to care and member support, designed to drive improved outcomes and increased member satisfaction.</p><p></p><p><b>Key responsibilities include:</b></p><p>· Advance multi-year condition-specific strategies and innovation roadmaps, ensuring Aetna is at the forefront in identified clinical conditions, in partnership with business and clinical leadership</p><p>· Drive strategy execution oversight, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment across functional areas responsible for execution on our clinical strategy roadmap, including IT, Network, Operations, Product, and Clinical partners</p><p>· Ensure adherence to a standard project management and reporting process across multiple workstreams. Manage project manager and work with cross-functional project managers to adopt and maintain standardized project management framework.</p><p>· Evaluate new condition specific opportunities; Examples may include new product, partnership, channel, and / or other avenues to drive growth</p><p>· Maintain pulse on competitive and market landscape, innovation, and emerging solutions, articulate product and service opportunities, gaps, and unmet needs for specific clinical conditions</p><p>· Develop financial and analytic performance insight for specific emerging conditions, identify opportunities to drive improved outcomes, and oversee the execution on opportunities, in partnership with clinical, network, analytics and operations partners</p><p>· Identify key performance indicators; Monitor for value attainment and mitigate financial and other risk</p><p>· Work in partnership with clinical leadership to support an external market presence and thought leadership on emerging behavioral health conditions</p><p>· Engage and support functional teams in advancing their solutions, finalizing execution roadmaps, managing execution, and solving roadblocks / barriers as needed, across network / provider partnership strategy, clinical strategy, and product strategy</p><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><p>· 10+ years of experience and technical/functional expertise in one or more of the following areas: management consulting, strategic planning, business performance</p><p>· Experience working in the health plan and / or health care industry with strong business acumen and exposure to one or more of the following areas product, network management, provider partnerships, clinical operations, quality management, and health plan member engagement</p><p>· Mastery of cross-functional initiative planning and execution oversight for highly complex and matrixed initiatives</p><p>· Mastery of problem solving and strategic frameworks to inform business decision making</p><p>· Adept at developing analysis, presentations, and support material to successfully inform and engage leadership stakeholders in solution design and execution</p><p>· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to executive stakeholders across modalities (i.e., email / briefs, presentations, meeting management)</p><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><p>· Prior work experience in mental health at a health plan</p><p></p><p><b>Education</b></p><p>· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master of Public Health or Master of Business Administration a plus</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Pay Range</b></p><p style="text-align:left">The typical pay range for this role is:</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>$100,000.00 - $231,540.00<p style="text-align:left"><br>This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program. <br> </p><p style="text-align:left">Our people fuel our future.
