With a focus on prevention and value, we aim to make quality care accessible to improve the oral health of all.</em> </div><div><br></div><div>Job Description: </div><div>Location: This role will support markets in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Alabama.</div><div><br>The opportunity:<br>The Learning & Development Consultant will provide hands-on training and development aid directly to dental practices within the Advantage Dental+ network. <br>This role focuses on traveling to practice locations to deliver targeted training, coaching, and performance improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, patient care, and employee engagement. The consultant will work closely with practice teams to identify development needs, implement learning solutions, and drive measurable improvements in practice performance to help AD+ business objectives</div><div><br>How you will contribute:</div><ul><li>Travel to dental practices to assess training needs and deliver customized learning solutions (50% travel)</li><li>Conduct on-site training sessions for clinical and administrative staff on procedures, systems, and best practices</li><li>Provide coaching and mentoring to practice team members to enhance skills and performance</li><li>Design and facilitate group training programs that address specific practice situations and opportunities</li><li>Partner with practice managers to identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency gains</li><li>Implement training interventions that directly aid practice productivity and patient satisfaction goals</li><li>Assist the adoption of clinical care models including Preventistry and CARE protocols</li><li>Assist practices in developing internal training capabilities and knowledge transfer processes</li><li>Create practice-specific training materials and resources tailored to local needs and challenges</li><li>Develop job aids, process guides, and reference materials to assist ongoing learning</li><li>Utilize adult learning principles to design engaging and effective training experiences</li><li>Adapt corporate training programs to meet the unique requirements of practices</li><li>Track and document training outcomes and their impact on practice performance metrics</li><li>Collect feedback from practice teams to continuously improve training effectiveness</li><li>Report on training activities, progress, and results to the Director of Learning & Development</li><li>Identify trends and opportunities for broader organizational learning initiatives</li><li>Work closely with practice managers, regional directors, and clinical leadership to align training efforts with business priorities</li><li>Serve as a liaison between practices and corporate learning resources</li></ul><div><br>What you will bring with you:</div><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or related experience</li><li>2+ years' work experience within a medical/dental practice with financial software experience (Dentrix preferred)</li><li>Experience/knowledge of dental terminology and what basic dental treatments entail</li><li>Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Thorough knowledge of training processes</li><li>Ability to moderate large groups</li><li>Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities</li><li>Strong knowledge of computer software to include Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and follow-through</li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent time management with the ability to work without supervision while demonstrating excellent organization and follow through</li><li>High standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism, and work ethic</li><li>Commitment to service excellence</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks</li><li>Ability to handle confidential issues professionally</li><li>Solid communication, presentation, and writing abilities</li><li>Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities and stakeholder requirements</li><li>Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently</li><li>Energetic and resourceful</li><li>Organized and attentive to details and deadlines</li><li>Attends additional training as requested/deemed necessary</li><li>Ability to hear and apply constructive criticism</li></ul><div><br>Preferred:</div><ul><li>Requires overall light physical effort (up to 25lbs.)</li><li>Manual dexterity and sitting for extended period is required in carrying out position responsibilities (i.e. use of personal compute).</li><li>Ability to communicate via telephone and work in virtual teams effectively</li><li>Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required</li><li>Incumbent works primarily in a home office environment if not traveling or conducting training at a clinical site.</li><li>Operate personal and computer equipment</li></ul><div><br>Salary:  $58,200 - 87,300<br><br>At our company, we are committed to pay transparency and equity.
