ABOUT THIS TEAM

The Distribution Planning team is responsible for leading and driving the Global Distribution strategy, operational planning, performance management, optimization initiatives, operational training, health & safety programs, 3PL management, and real estate. The scope covers both owned and operated facilities as well as 3PL partners across multiple international markets. This function is highly collaborative and will partner closely with Global Fulfillment, Product, Channel, People, and Technology teams that support Global Distribution capabilities today, and collectively orchestrate a paralleled push to achieving our strategic and operational goals.

This position is Monday - Friday, 2:30PM - 11:00PM.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The team will support the development and facilitation of operational learning materials relative to DC systems and tools, grounded in sound learning design principles, measuring impact and outcomes against predetermined success metrics. This will be in alignment with enterprise frameworks from Learning & Leadership and operational objectives from Global Distribution leadership to ensure consistency in expectations and execution. Reporting to the Manager Distribution Ops Training, the Facilitator is responsible for supporting operational training programs for hourly employees. This role will organize, schedule, and facilitate on‑boarding activities for our new hire employees, help create training standards and execute the strategic vision of the Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Hourly Training: Facilitate and deliver operational training for hourly employees across multiple departments, including classroom onboarding, associate development programs, and instructor‑led training (ILT) sessions, both in‑person and virtual. Provide hands‑on practice, evaluation, and testing on the DC floor.
  • On‑the‑Job Support: Offer in‑the‑moment feedback, direction, and training to Warehouse Associates and Forklift Drivers to ensure accurate and timely shipments. Support operational training by identifying and addressing skill gaps, removing bottlenecks, and ensuring correct system usage.
  • Training Strategy & Administration: Support the Distribution Operations Training Manager in identifying process and content gaps and adapting training to meet the needs of new hires and existing employees. Collaborate with P&C and Ops teams to ensure day‑to‑day training support, including scheduling, coordinating, and reviewing departmental productivity metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Performance Tracking & Feedback: Assess and track learners’ progress through various methods, including observation, surveys, and people analytics. Provide individualized feedback to enhance job performance and identify areas for further training. Follow‑up on new hire productivity to gauge training effectiveness and certification readiness.
  • Cross‑Functional Training: Partner with operations teams to deliver cross‑departmental training sessions as needed, ensuring that training content is tailored to specific department requirements. Assist floor leads to support operational training (On‑the‑Job Training and Certification).
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with best practices in training facilitation to continuously enhance learning experiences. Support strategic projects and day‑to‑day operational needs when not facilitating training sessions.
  • Collaboration: Work with site P&C coordinators, talent acquisition, and L&L teams to coordinate onboarding, training content delivery, and operational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1‑2 years experience in teaching, facilitation, and/or coaching in an educational, corporate, and/or warehouse environment
  • Experience in adult learning facilitation, teaching, corporate or warehouse
  • Understanding of adult learning principles
  • Strengths in training, organization, influence, and solutions‑oriented problem‑solving
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the business both written and verbally
  • Proficient understanding and demonstrated execution of Distribution Center inbound and outbound operational processes (Pick, Pack, Ship, etc.)
  • Experience in Consumer Supply Chain strategy & operations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and critical thinking skills
  • Previous experience in project work, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE

Typical Hiring Range: $25.25 - $33.15/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location

Target Bonus: 10%
