Responsibilities

  • Prepare and portion ingredients according to menu specifications and recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Cook a variety of dishes with precision, maintaining proper food handling and safety standards at all times.
  • Assist in menu planning and daily meal preparation to support kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
  • Support catering events and special functions by preparing food items efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold excellent food presentation standards.
  • Follow all food safety protocols, including proper knife skills, storage procedures, and hygiene practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable.
  • Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting, especially in fine dining environments.
  • Strong food preparation and cooking skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
