Maintenance Supervisor

We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Somerset Highways team based in Somerset. In this role you'll be key to ensuring our five depots across the Somerset County are maintained to the highest standards.

 

Location: Somerset – site based 5 days per week

Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year + company van + excellent benefits

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee general maintenance and minor repairs, monitor the condition of each site, and coordinate external contractors to support ongoing upkeep. You'll also make sure all activities meet the required safety and compliance standards across our Somerset depots.

Your day to day will include:

  • Carrying out building fabric repairs, adjustments and general maintenance across our five depot locations
  • Coordinating with external contractors to support ongoing site upkeep
  • Conducting regular safety checks and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring all premises and grounds are safe, warm and properly maintained
  • Reporting maintenance needs to the Transport Manager and supervision staff
