Maintenance Technician I

Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, veterans and youth in Pinellas County. Boley Centers has an opportunity for full-time a Maintenance Technician Resource Coordinator whose responsibility it will be to ensure the efficient operation of all phases of facility and equipment maintenance, including fiscal and record keeping requirements.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responds promptly and efficiently completes maintenance requests in assigned Agency facilities and provides emergency maintenance service (off hours on week days and 24 hours on weekends).
  • Evaluates service requests to determine if work should be completed by Agency staff or outside contractor.
  • Maintains and repairs Agency equipment.
  • Purchases maintenance supplies and provides invoice charges per facility/program.
  • Evaluates inventory of Support Services maintenance supplies and purchases replacement supplies.
  • Records the service history of all facilities and equipment monthly.
  • Transports clients in Agency vehicles and assists in the delivery and/or pickup of mail, donations, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Submits recommendations to the Property Maintenance Manager regarding general conditions and needs of facilities, equipment, supplies, etc.
  • Assists the Director of Support Services on other projects as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma/GED required with less than three years of related experience. If three or more years of related experience, education requirement may be waived.

Minimum of two years of related experience in all building maintenance trades.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Valid Florida driver's license required.


Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
