Our team supports the entire business—from strategic counseling to building and scaling our data security and privacy program. Our goal is to advance compliance with data protection laws in a balanced, pragmatic, and risk-based manner that enables business growth while drawing on deep industry expertise and best practices. </span></p><p></p><p><span>This role is based in Los Gatos, CA and reports to the Sr. Manager, Privacy Program Management.  The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted partner in driving operational excellence for our global privacy initiatives.</span></p><p></p><p><b><u>Key Responsibilities</u></b></p><p></p><p><span>In this role, you will focus on building and evolving the company’s privacy accountability program and its supporting infrastructure. You will work cross-functionally with Legal, Privacy & Data Protection Engineering, Policy, Internal Audit, and other corporate teams. </span></p><p></p><p><span>Your core responsibilities will include:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Assist in the design and roll out program management frameworks that monitor and advance privacy compliance efforts.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop and manage scalable systems (metrics, dashboards, reporting) to track and report privacy goals and initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Dive deep into business operations and legal workflows to surface gaps, risks, and opportunities to streamline and strengthen privacy practices.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop actionable privacy tools and resources for legal teams (e.g., guidance, training, standard processes, review/approval workflows).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build strong, collaborative relationships with partners across Privacy/Security, Legal, and business partners to enable smooth implementation and adoption of new processes and tools.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Bring cross‑functional partners along, ensuring they’re aligned, engaged, and delivering clear, measurable improvements in privacy compliance.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>What we’re Looking For</u></b></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span>5+ years as a Privacy Program Manager, with a proven track record of building and managing privacy programs and accountability frameworks.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in entertainment, online advertising, and/or tech is required; in-house legal experience is a plus.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong substantive knowledge of applied privacy laws.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to work well under pressure with diligence, organization, and minimal supervision, and provide practical advice to stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent judgment and the ability to communicate concisely and candidly.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Solid project management skills and strong attention to detail.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Comfortable with technology and eager to leverage AI productivity tools to enhance workflows.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with content/workflow management systems and privacy tools (e.g., OneTrust) is a plus.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Intellectually curious, flexible, and inspired by the</span><a href="https://jobs.netflix.com/culture" target="_blank"><span> </span><u>Netflix Culture</u></a><span>.</span></p></li><li><p><span>A bachelor’s degree, preferred but not required. </span></p></li><li><p><span>A sense of humor. </span></p></li></ul><p> </p>Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $210,000.00 - $330,000.00.<p></p><p>Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off. Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off.
