The team is responsible for overseeing the business and creative execution across merchandise creation, product development, licensee relationships, publishing, marketing, as well as a global division focused on live experiences.</span></p><p></p><p><span>That’s where you come in: we're seeking a Manager, Hardlines Licensing to manage our key partners across series and film. This person will be part of our acceleration phase as we embark on ambitious relationships with the world’s leading toy and hardlines brands across some of the most talked-about titles. This won't be plug and play but collaborative and strategic work as we build the franchises of the future. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic professional with sharp operational acumen who can guide our core licensees to build impactful programs at retail in new innovative ways. They should be comfortable with risk, creative in problem-solving, and  unafraid to express their informed opinions and do what is right for Netflix. </span></p><p></p><p><span>The Manager, Hardlines will be responsible for informing strategy and execution for hardlines programs with global partners. They will support key licensees in growing and developing their business with Netflix. Our overall goal is to ensure that Netflix consumer products are present in the right categories and distribution channels to deliver fan joy whenever and wherever those fans are.</span></p><p><br /><b><span>What you will do:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><b><b>Strategic Thinking:</b><span> </span></b><span>Inform and execute toys and hardlines category growth strategies, aligning with our global hardlines strategy and overall Consumer Products business and Netflix goals</span></p></li><li><p>Strategic Planning and Execution: <span>Co-strategise with the Global Head of Hardlines, develop pitches and execute specialised go-to-region strategies. </span></p></li><li><p><b><b>Lead Program Management and Cross-Functional Coordination:</b><span> </span></b><span>Drive end-to-end project management for key Global partners, including coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders and ensuring a robust workflow.</span></p></li><li><p><b><b>Commercial and Marketing Optimisation:</b><span> </span></b><span>Partner with internal teams to optimise commercial plans, lead market deployment sessions, and attend recurring Licensing and Commercial touchbases to drive successful outcomes. Work with regional leads to maximise plans and ensure adherence to Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes across all key markets.</span></p></li><li><p><b><b>Business Analysis and Forecasting:</b><span> </span></b><span>Manage the collection and analysis of quarterly forecasts to provide business insights and put strategic plans in place to secure future business growth.</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Lead end-to-end category management<span> life cycle (e.g., line planning, channel and audience strategy, analysing sales performance, partner rationalisation), including ownership of the relationship with key licensees to ensure business plans align with our goals and objectives</span></p></li><li><p>Partner<span> with Product Development & Creative, Retail Development and CP Marketing teams to ensure that the programs that land on shelf reflect creative excellence and align with our strategic and product vision</span></p></li><li><p>Drive a global toys center of excellence<span> and operational process that incorporates regional business needs to maximise opportunities across the globe</span></p></li><li><p>Evaluate the competitive landscape<span> by brand and audience demo, while identifying gaps and opportunities to gain market share in all lines of business</span></p></li><li><p>Be a strong<span> internal and external </span>champion<span> of the Netflix Consumer Products strategy including our unique proposition, vision, and long-term goals </span></p></li><li><p>Take a “talent friendly” approach<span> to the work and ensure appropriate stakeholders are involved in key decision-making</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What we need from you:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>10+ years of experience leading, or as a key member, of a Licensing / Toy Company Marketing team with a specific focus on global,  tentpole-title programs. Proven experience developing and executing global brand plans that drive growth and deliver results. Retail Development, Merchant, or Licensing experience is a plus </span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrated success in building and growing brands across Girls, Boys, and kidult / adult collectibles.
