Manager - Physician Revenue Cycle - Middle Job LocationsUS-Remote Job Opening ID 2026-434321 Category Finance Ministry Ascension System Office Business Unit 62066 Ascension Company Name Ascension Your future role at a glance Department: Revenue Cycle Schedule: Full Time: Monday-Friday Location: Remote Salary: $93,857.00 - $126,983.00 per year Eligible for an annual bonus incentive How you'll make an impact in this role Monitor charge capture, coding accuracy, claim scrubbing Analyze denial trends, manage accounts receivable, and implement strategies to reduce denials and improve collections. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like coding error rates, billing turnaround times, and A/R days; report to management. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors. Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions for better revenue capture. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred. What additional requirements you'll need Strong foundation of billing and knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT). Certified Coder - Preferred Strong Knowledge of CMS guidelines and regulations Knowledge of CCI edits Experience with EHR/Billing Software & Microsoft Office. Analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
