<p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Job Description:</b></u></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>OSIS is seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Billing Specialist (Tech I) with a strong focus on payment posting to support our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. In this role, you'll help ensure accurate and timely revenue collection for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Community Health Centers (CHCs) across multiple states—all while providing exceptional service to our member organizations.</p><p></p><p><i><b>This fully remote position is ideal for someone who is skilled in medical billing, enjoys working with data and payer information, and thrives in a goal‑oriented environment.</b></i></p><p></p><p><u><b>What You’ll Do</b></u></p><div><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul><li><p><b>Focus heavily on payment posting</b> while also executing a variety of medical billing and revenue cycle workflows.</p></li><li><p>Process daily/weekly/monthly billing tasks to ensure optimal and accurate revenue collection.</p></li><li><p>Work with charges, transactions, AR management, patient and payer calls, and online payer portals.</p></li><li><p>Review and research federal, state, and payer billing requirements.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with internal teams to support our member organizations and deliver high‑quality service.</p></li><li><p>Participate in training and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of coding, billing rules, and healthcare regulations.</p></li><li><p>Use NextGen PM to support accurate billing and documentation processes.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to workflow analysis and best‑practice recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Meet attainable performance goals in accuracy, productivity, and turnaround times.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>What You Bring:</b></u></p><p><b>Required:</b></p><ul><li><p>1+ years of <b>medical billing experience</b></p></li><li><p>Experience with clearinghouses and payer/healthcare portals</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of <b>ICD‑10</b> and <b>CPT</b> coding</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and customer service skills</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Preferred (nice to have):</b></u></p><ul><li><p>Experience with:</p><ul><li><p>FQHC billing</p></li><li><p>Dental or Behavioral Health billing</p></li><li><p>NextGen EPM, EDR, or Optical</p></li></ul></li><li><p>MS Excel proficiency</p></li></ul><h3></h3><p></p><p><u><b>Work Environment & Schedule</b></u></p><ul><li><p><b>Remote position</b> with full telecommuting privileges</p></li><li><p>Standard schedule: <b>Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET</b></p></li><li><p>Minimal travel (5–10 days per year)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Technical Requirements</b></u></p><p>Must have:</p><ul><li><p>Cable or Fiber internet</p></li><li><p>Minimum <b>20 Mbps download</b> / <b>5 Mbps upload</b> speeds</p></li></ul><p></p><p>If you're passionate about medical billing and want to join a collaborative team supporting community health organizations nationwide, we’d love to hear from you!</p><p></p></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Compensation Range</b></u></p><p>$17.50 - $25.72</p>
