We are currently hiring for the position of Multi Drop Van Driver to join our dynamic team. As a crucial member of our Fleet and Transport Team, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely completing upwards of 50 drops per day using a 3.5-tonne van.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van to complete assigned daily pharmaceutical deliveries.</p></li><li><p>Load and unload totes onto the van while maintaining their integrity and security.</p></li><li><p>Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.</p></li><li><p>Keep accurate records of deliveries made, and any other relevant information.</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively with the transport team to relay updates or address any issues that may arise during the delivery process.</p></li><li><p>Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure your van is in a roadworthy condition.</p></li><li><p>Ability to lift tote bins with a weight up to 25kgs.</p></li><li><p>Carry out upwards of 50 high volume deliveries per day.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>Valid manual driver's licence with no more than 3 ‘live’ points on your licence</p></li><li><p>Proven experience as a Multi Drop Van Driver or similar role.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with local traffic laws and knowledge of assigned delivery areas/routes.</p></li><li><p>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently while adhering to delivery schedules.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Whilst Alliance Healthcare is committed to developing positive policies to promote equal opportunities in employment, we have a duty of care to ensure we do not instigate or worsen any conditions that would prevent the team member from carrying out manual handling duties.
