Position Summary:

Strategic management of the business with the goal of establishing Wella as the market leader in sales and service. This person will lead the identification, development, and execution of strategies to deliver key business KPIs.

The ideal candidate will be expected to create strategic vision as well as manage the tactical implementation, in all facets, regarding the products managed. Joint Business Planning, Line Reviews, Promotional Execution, Financial Management, Business Analysis, Forecasting, Trade Spend Management and Strategic Relationship Building. Wella participates extensively in the JBP process and conducts frequent meetings within assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and execution of all presentations.
  • Leading the strategy, tactics, and execution in all JBP activities.
  • Management of short-term and long-term business results, including innovative changes aimed at broad financial impact.
  • Delivering upon volume, share and ROI targets.
  • Driving distribution, shelving, pricing, and promotion support to optimize spend.
  • Identification and activation of fact-based sales opportunities.
  • Accurately forecast the business.
  • Managing promotional funds to effectively drive the business.
  • P&L management.
  • JBP & QBR presentation lead.
  • Merchandising Strategy process tactical planning & execution.
  • Nielsen/IRI insights.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is someone who wants to manage their business, take risks and think outside of the box. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years supporting a national account.

  • Driver type of personality: creative, outgoing, and resilient.
  • Passionate about what you do and self-motivated.
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of analytical capability.
  • Knowledge of or experience working with Syndicated data, Household and Panel data, planogram analysis, and marketing concepts.
  • Strong leadership and team-oriented skills.
  • Potential to grow into larger roles within the company.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • + 5 years of commercial experience, highly desired experience with Fast Moving Consumer Goods Companies.
  • Able to travel via air for trainings and company meetings at minimum 1-2 times per year
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $97,500 - $130,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
