Expanding Neonatology Practice in Beautiful Suburban North Atlanta!

Northside Hospital Forsyth and Northside Hospital Cherokee


Seeking a per diem, experienced NNP to join our expanding team of 5 NNPs, 2 Pediatricians, PNPs and 4 board-certified neonatologists dedicated to serving the needs of newborns and their families in suburban communities north of Atlanta. Our team provides Level III neonatology services at both Northside Hospital Forsyth and Northside Hospital Cherokee. We are expanding our team from 4+ NNPs to 8+ NNPs to provide 24/7 coverage at both locations.

  • Northside Forsyth, Level III NICU (Cumming, GA)
    • The average census in NICU is 18-20
    • 45 post-partum rooms
    • Services include HFOV, iNO, whole body cooling for HIE.
    • Using our Pediatric Hospitalist Service, our team provides NBN coverage for >90% of all newborns born at Forsyth location
  • Northside Cherokee, Level III NICU (Canton, GA)
    • New Women’s Center opened in 2017
    • The average census in NICU is 13-15 (this has doubled since 2020).
    • 16 NICU rooms including a Transition Nursery in NICU
    • 24 post-partum rooms
    • Services include HFOV, iNO, EEG. Whole body cooling at Forsyth only
    • Our team provides NBN coverage for 100% of all deliveries at the Cherokee location

**Additonal Details:

  • Dedicated NICU pharmacy, nutritionists, PT/OT for development, speech therapy for feeds, and NICU milk prep at both sites
  • Easy access to pediatric sub-specialists such as cardiology, neurology (remote EEG), and ophthalmology, Peds radiology at both sites.
  • NNP coverage is 24-hour shifts
  • NNP responsibilities will include NBN care in Newborn Nursery


  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master’s degree
  • GA license required
