Operative Level 1

Due to continued growth in demand, we're expanding our team at our Pasquill site in Chorley and are looking for motivated Operatives to join us.

These are permanent, Monday to Friday roles, working either:

6am - 2pm (morning shift), or

2pm - 10pm (afternoon shift)What we do:

Pasquill is the largest supplier of trussed rafters in the UK, with an unrivalled national network of design and manufacturing sites providing nationwide coverage with local knowledge and service. Our portfolio includes a full range of innovative engineered timber solutions including roof trusses, I Joists, Posi-joists™, panelised roof systems, cassette floors, spandrel panels, and Glulam.

We're pretty open, but would like to hear from people with experience in the following areas:

Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably manufacturing or production, however other industries where you have to act quickly and think on your feet would also be an advantage

A strong awareness and respect for health, safety and environment.

The ability to work in a team with minimum supervision.As an Operative you will be responsible for the operation at our Chorley site, in accordance with the agreed company standards and specifications in order to ensure the safe, continuous, effective and efficient production of excellent quality products. Some of the duties, but not limited to, you can expect to undertake include:

Working from drawings to produce large timber engineered products.

Organising to cut timber efficiently to maintain production needs.

Learning to operate different power and hand-tools to produce goods.

Operating machinery to ensure accuracy in production of products.

Setting, maintaining, troubleshooting and operating, following COSHH regulations.

Accurately recording production information.What's on offer:
