We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified applicants who are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and have a strong passion for sales.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>As a member of our Outside Sales Team, your primary responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Generating and securing new sales by building relationships with customers.</li><li>Visit construction sites, contractor offices and other locations to promote products, discuss projects and increase sales.</li><li>Prepare sales orders, quotes and proposals working closely with inside sales teams and purchasing team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Qualified candidates must have in depth knowledge of building materials and millwork products, including their applications and specifications.</li><li>Proven background in sales and customer service, with the ability to prospect new clients, follow up on leads, and actively sell lumber and building materials.</li><li>Must possess strong organizational, communication and computer skills.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and create estimates with accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Valid driver’s license required for travel to customer locations and job sites to consult, measure, recommend materials, inspect issues, and assist in problem solving.</li><li>Self-motivated, reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About rk MILES</strong></p><p>rk MILES is a fourth-generation family-owned building material supplier dedicated to providing exceptional services and materials for building projects in Vermont and Western Massachusetts.
