Job Description Join Allstate’s Litigation Services team as a Paralegal Senior Specialist, where your contributions will be essential to delivering strong legal outcomes and exceptional service to our clients. Based in Colorado this remote role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on high-impact insurance defense cases involving bodily injury claims. Youll take ownership of the litigation life cycle — from answering complaints and managing discovery, to preparing for arbitration and trial. With access to hands-on training and mentorship from a collaborative team of paralegals and attorneys, you’ll build deep expertise and grow your career in a supportive, fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation • Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice • Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures • Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable • Handle e-filing in Colorado Courts • Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance • Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files • Participate in limited in-office responsibilities, such as supporting the mail hub (approx. 3x/month) Education • Open to Paralegal certificate in lieu of 5 years’ experience • Paralegal cert is preferred, will consider 5 years’ experience in lieu of certificate. Minimum Requirements • 5+ years Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation. • Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment • Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings. • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
