Part Time Training Assistant

Salt is hiring Part- Time Training Assistants (TAs) who are passionate towards helping mid-career transition trainees in their learning journey to acquire and apply digital skills to secure meaningful career opportunities. Jobs and responsibilities: Reporting to the Program Lead, TAs support trainers by hosting online Zoom training sessions, manage breakout rooms and online learning resources such as polls, games and simulations using laptop and software provided by Academy. Support trainees and trainers by disseminating session details before, during and after online lessons via MS Teams, online chat, email and other mediums. Support trainee on content: Understand where trainees are getting stuck and provide support offline on assignments/project work. Consolidate and escalate to trainer where content questions cannot be answered by TA. Lead coaching/tutorial sessions: Facilitate group work discussions and offer guidance to trainees on content and assignment completion. Coach/counsel: Connect 1-on-1 with trainees to coach and motivate trainees who are falling behind and help them stay on track. Monitor & track: Use the attendance and assessment reports to identify at risk trainees and connect with them to support their learning progress. Provide feedback to trainers: Regularly connect with trainers to update how trainees are doing and feedback on pace of sessions and appreciation of content. Grade trainee assessments with Trainers. Be the point of contact and support for trainee enquiries, communications, and feedback for a class about ~60 trainees. Review existing processes with team to initiate, develop and implement improvements. Preferred background experience: Key competency: Strong communication and interpersonal skills (including coaching learners), process-disciplined and maturity to represent brand plus willingness to reskill themselves. Experience as trainer and dealing with trainees (especially in situations handling / coaching mid-career or senior professionals) is an advantage. Experience on topics being taught is a plus.
