WhatYou’llBeDoing
DutiesandResponsibilities:
• Coordinate the ordering, receiving, stocking, transfer, and delivery of parts to ensure technicians and branches have what they need for timely repairs.
• Dispatch field technicians to service calls.
• Maintain shop supplies and monitor inventory levels; process returns, exchanges, and warranty claims as required.
• Open, update, and close work orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed.
• Schedule and track equipment service and maintenance, balancing technician availability with customer and fleet needs.
• Prepare and provide quotes and estimates for repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding service timelines, equipment status, and parts availability.
• Match packing slips to receivers and invoices to support efficient accounts payable processing.
• Work closely with the Service and Shop teams to prioritize work orders and minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain organized records and reports on service schedules, equipment history, and parts usage.
• Support compliance with company policies, warranty processes, and safety standards.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment and uphold The Cooper Difference.

QualificationsandRequirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of parts management experience is required.
• Knowledge of construction or heavy equipment parts, service procedures, and maintenance practices is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, technicians, and vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with service or inventory management systems (Systematics or similar) is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in order tracking, scheduling, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and urgent service needs.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company standards.
• High level of accountability, professionalism, and pride in your work.
