Growing together.<br><br></strong><strong>The Enterprise Information Security (EIS)</strong> <strong>team </strong>is responsible for cybersecurity across our organization. We support our business and members by reducing risk, rapidly responding to threats, focusing on business resiliency and securing new acquisitions.<br><br><strong>Purpose of Job: </strong>This role is a Principle Cybersecurity Analyst position on the Security Incident Response (SIR) Team. As the team has developed into a 24/7 x 365 operation, we require solid individual contributors to investigate, analyze and contain security incidents.<br><br>Please note this will be shift work - Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 4 pm / flexible requirements<br><br>If you are located in MN or DC, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. This position follows a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week.<br><br><strong>Primary Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead escalated security and privacy incidents, providing technical expertise and remediation using a risk-based approach</li><li>Mentor analysts, providing training and guidance through complex incidents</li><li>Provide coaching throughout the security incident response process, deliver formal feedback on sampled incidents and escalated events</li><li>Provide timely incident status reporting to multiple levels of stakeholders</li><li>Produce detailed incident reports and security recommendations</li><li>Provide design and engineering consulting expertise in support of new initiatives</li><li>Document and operationalize IR processes for use in support of enterprise efforts</li><li>Drive automation and efficiency opportunities</li><li>Work with leadership to develop personal, team, and departmental goals</li><li>Manage personal and team project initiatives</li><li>Promote teamwork across the broader ESRO and Cyber Defense Organization</li><li>On-call duties are required<br><br></li></ul>You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.<br><br><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Information Technology Industry Certification: Willingness to obtain information/cybersecurity certification within nine (9) months of hire</li><li>10+ years of Cybersecurity or IT Security experience in any of the following areas:</li><ul><li>Cyber Security Incident Response</li><li>Email Security</li><li>Cybersecurity threat detection, monitoring and reporting</li><li>Cyber Intelligence and Threat Hunting</li><li>Vulnerability Management</li></ul><li>Willing or ability to obtain NAC clearance</li><li>Experience analyzing attack vectors, current threats, and security remediation strategies</li><li>Experience with SIEM technologies, EDR technologies, and/or Asset isolation tools</li><li>Experience in public cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform</li><li>Willing or ability to work off shift hours if needed (e.g. Nights and Weekends)</li><li>If you are offered this position, you will be required to provide extensive personal information to obtain and maintain a suitability or determination of eligibility for a Confidential/Secret or Top Secret security clearance as a condition of your employment<br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>CISSP, CISA, GCIH, CEH, CHFI, CCSP, SEC+, Net+, A+</li><li>Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience </li><li>PowerShell, KQL, or Python scripting experience</li><li>Understanding of NIST 800-61, Cyber Kill Chain, and MITRE ATT&CK framework</li><li>Networking experience (including the OSI Model, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP), System Administration, and Security Architecture</li><li>High level familiarity of global privacy regulations (NY Cyber, GDPR, LGPD, CERT-In)</li><li>Proven Spanish Language skills</li><li>All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy<br><br></li></ul>Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment.
