This role ensures accuracy and continuous improvement of tools, templates, and processes within the Services Organization. The engineer executes designs for large, complex projects by clarifying scope with clients, coordinating with engineering and architectural resources, engaging technical experts, and working with vendors to meet specifications. Responsibilities include system reliability calculations, control and monitoring system design, guiding sales and estimating teams, supporting solution presentations, and managing client relationships. During construction, the engineer assists Project Managers and installation teams to meet schedules, budgets, and safety standards. They serve as the lead technical consultant for design, construction, and performance issues.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></h2> </div><div><ul> <li>Quote and execute successful field projects within critical facilities environment including oversight and direction of design and estimation deliverables from team members.</li> <li>Work with Manager, PMO to establish, track and update team KPI’s.</li> <li>As the subject matter expert of critical facility infrastructure, coach team members, such as estimators, project managers, and sales, in technical matters. </li> <li>Develop and refine tools and processes to improve team efficiency and accuracy.</li> <li>Work closely with internal/external customers to determine requirements and make cost-effective and innovative recommendations.</li> <li>Generate, read, interpret, and explain RFQ’s, SOW’s, drawings (Space & Single-Line) to guide the creation of solutions, estimates, and other documents within a timely manner, while</li> <li>adhering to company guidelines (e.g. legal review process and required margin calculations).</li> <li>Working knowledge of client-specific standards as well as industry standards, such as Telcordia and NEC, within the DC/Critical Facilities environment.</li> <li>Support the Sales team in the identification and qualification of new market opportunities.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and project coordinators to execute projects successfully.</li> <li>Create overall strategies and plans to execute projects.</li> <li>Manage change control and implement approved changes.</li> <li>Assist in the delivery of complete and accurate close-out documentation to clients in a timely manner.</li> <li>Prepare and review with team any post-mortems university.</li> <li>Experience in critical power environments including DC power and protected AC power systems.</li> <li>Basic understanding of cooling systems, control systems, AC switch gear, and generator systems.</li> <li>Experience in project management and operations culture.</li> <li>Understanding of financial statements, budgets and engineering economic calculations.</li> <li>Ability to create, document, and present clearly design concepts to customers and operations.</li> <li>Experience working with professional engineers and architects.</li> <li>Familiarity with construction techniques and able to apply them to design solutions.</li> <li>Experience and ability in the use of SharePoint and TEAMS.</li> <li>Excellent computer skills (specifically MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint)</li> <li>Experience in technical drawings programs (AutoCAD, Visio) required.</li> <li>Ability and confidence to manage multiple projects and make critical decisions on a day-to-day
