[Remote] AI Consultant – Learning & Development (L&D) / LMS Focus

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ROCKCREST is seeking AI-in-HR consultants to help organizations transform their learning and development strategies through intelligent technologies. The AI Consultant will partner with HR and learning leaders to evaluate, design, and implement AI-driven solutions that modernize talent development and optimize learning ecosystems. Responsibilities • Advise clients on AI applications within the learning lifecycle — from skills mapping and personalized learning paths to content curation and analytics. • Evaluate and recommend AI tools (e.g., copilots, chatbots, adaptive learning platforms, content-generation models) to enhance learning engagement and efficiency. • Assess LMS environments for AI readiness and guide configuration or integration strategies that align with business goals and data governance standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, data, and leadership) to design scalable AI solutions that fit existing HR tech stacks. • Conduct discovery workshops to identify business challenges, define success metrics, and build a roadmap for AI adoption in L&D. • Support change enablement efforts, including communication, user training, and adoption planning for AI-enhanced learning tools. • Stay current on emerging AI trends, tools, and frameworks relevant to learning, skills intelligence, and employee experience. Skills • 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, HR Technology, or related consulting roles. • Hands-on experience with one or more LMS/LXP platforms (Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Workday Learning, Docebo, Degreed, Brightspace, etc.). • Strong understanding of AI and data concepts — including machine learning, generative AI, NLP, and recommendation systems — as applied to learning or talent. • Proven ability to translate business needs into AI/L&D use cases and practical implementation roadmaps. • Excellent client-facing skills with a consultative approach to problem-solving. • Background in instructional design, learning analytics, or digital learning transformation preferred. • Experience designing or implementing AI chatbots, copilots, or content automation tools within LMS environments. • Familiarity with learning data standards (xAPI, SCORM, LTI) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). • Knowledge of skills ontology frameworks and talent intelligence platforms. • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) or experience leading adoption initiatives a plus.
