[Remote] Lead Programmatic Advertising Operations Specialist

The Lead Programmatic Advertising Operations Specialist ensures the successful fulfillment of programmatically sold digital advertising campaigns, managing implementation, launch, and delivery while proactively identifying and solving problems.


Responsibilities

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Manage and ensure accurate implementation, launch and delivery of all programmatic campaigns
  • Provide informed recommendations about system and workflow improvements
  • Communicate effectively and closely with cross-functional support teams including vendors and external teams
  • Work with publishers and SSPs to debug and resolve technical or inventory issues
  • Traffic all ads directly in SSPs and confirm successful implementation through delivery and review of reporting
  • Maintain Ad Ops processes and best practices and provide suggestions to leadership on automation opportunities (order entry with Salesforce and SSPs)
  • Create and develop documentation on all processes to support implementation of Programmatic deals
  • Pull daily advertising domain review report to adhere to Charter/Spectrum Reach creative specifications restriction requirements
  • Participate to identify, evaluate, and partner with strategic local & global programmatic platforms, such as SSPs, DSPs, ad networks, agency trading desks, viewability/fraud providers, and data companies
  • Participate in testing phases of new partner integrations. Involved in A/B testing of technical requirements and enhancements when onboarding new bidding partners to provide necessary transparency of reporting. Complete all testing as assigned and provide constructive feedback when necessary
  • Work on programmatic deals supporting order entry, rekeying of excel documents/smart sheets into respective supply-side platform (SSPs), reporting, troubleshooting and creative review or management
  • Required to attend all meetings specific to the initiation and growth of the programmatic business as a key revenue driver for the company
  • Works cross-functionally as a liaison on projects, new procedures, new systems, workflows, best practices and campaign, or creative issues as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • MS Office experience, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of SSP, adserving environments specifically FreeWheel, Magnite, Pubmatic, Index and others
  • Effective troubleshooting skills within the programmatic landscape
  • Demonstrated understanding of Programmatic language and how programmatic works
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
