[Remote] Sr. Healthcare Economics Consultant , Reporting- Remote

The Sr. Healthcare Economics Consultant will lead analytic projects, engage with stakeholders, and prepare executive-level reports to support decision-making and improve health care outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the review and interpretation of data related to health care use, cost patterns, and overall business performance
  • Support the development and refinement of tools, processes, and resources that help make data easier to understand and use
  • Work with information from various clinical and claims sources, helping identify practical ways to bring it together and generate meaningful insights
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing recurring reports and analyses to ensure they are clear, accurate, and aligned with organizational needs
  • Apply general research and evaluation approaches to help assess the impact of programs and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive analytic projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are well managed
  • Maintain visibility into a portfolio of initiatives, assessing priority, dependencies, and progress toward goals
  • Identify risks, remove barriers, and promote cross functional alignment throughout project lifecycles
  • Partner with internal teams to standardize processes, improve workflow efficiency, and support operational readiness for new analytic capabilities
  • Provide day to day leadership for analysts and contribute to developing team capabilities and analytic quality
  • Engage directly with internal partners and clients to clarify needs, translate data into meaningful insights, and recommend actionable solutions
  • Facilitate discussions that align stakeholders on objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes
  • Prepare clear, concise, and visually compelling reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership
  • Translate complex analytic findings into business focused narratives that support decision making
  • Summarize portfolio progress, performance targets, and insights for executive level updates and governance forums

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, pharmacoeconomics, health care management, economics, health economics, public health or a related quantitative discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with data reporting and analysis
  • 2+ years of experience with healthcare data
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Master's degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, pharmacoeconomics, health services research, economics, health economics, public health or a related quantitative discipline
  • Advanced reporting skills using software like Tableau, Power BI
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
