[Remote] Sr Manager, Software Development & Engineering Senior

They are seeking a Senior Manager for Software Development & Engineering to lead the adoption of continuous integration and delivery concepts, manage application development, and oversee data integration frameworks.


Responsibilities

  • Adopt and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts and frameworks using Agile/Scrum processes
  • Utilize application development methodologies, infrastructure, and network architecture
  • Work with database management systems
  • Develop, maintain, and test applications
  • Utilize cloud-based technologies, as well as message and service-based software
  • Develop and deliver high throughput, reliable, and low latency software solutions
  • Understand, advocate, and augment platform principles, guidelines, and standard
  • Design and oversee end to end data integration, transformation, quality validation, lineage, and retention frameworks supporting both legacy and emerging data domains
  • Establish performance engineering standards for batch and streaming pipelines, including capacity planning, tuning, observability, and proactive remediation of bottlenecks
  • Architect and optimize data schemas, query patterns, indexing strategies, and governance practices to ensure scalable, compliant, high performance data access across transactional and analytical workloads
  • Lead root cause analysis of data integrity, latency, and performance issues and institutionalize preventive controls
  • Lead implementation of secure, auditable reporting and archival processes that satisfy regulatory inquiry, trade surveillance, retention, and retrieval obligations
  • Define and enforce data lifecycle balancing cost efficiency, compliance mandates, reliability, and analytical agility

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
  • 96 months of progressive post-Bachelor's experience in a related occupation
  • 60 months of experience involving SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), including regulatory reporting of daily trades to FINRA
  • Experience with SQL Server, Mongo DB, and DB2 Data Base, including data modeling, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning and SQL Server Integration Services
  • Experience in Data Architecture, including schema optimization, data purge, archival process, and data retrieval
  • Experience in Database and ETL performance tuning
  • Experience in Data Retention process implementation and maintenance
  • Experience with Google Cloud and Big Query in maintaining the trading data as per regulatory framework
