[Remote] VP, Business Development Lead Officer, CitiMortgage - NY Metro

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Business Development Lead Officer is responsible for promoting and driving Community Lending business, building relationships, and developing outreach strategies within the NY Metro region mortgage sales team.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively build trusted and productive relationships within the bank assessment areas to promote and generate Community Lending mortgage business
  • Facilitate, promote, and administer financial education, seminars and outreach efforts
  • Guide and support mortgage sales on Community Lending programs and products
  • Provide technical training on lending programs/products to internal and external partners
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with external real estate professionals, project developers and marketing agents
  • Work closely with Citi leadership in support of new business development efforts
  • Plan, organize, research, and respond to business opportunities
  • Develop strategic plans for business development
  • Perform deep dive research of new business prospects to include company research, financial analysis, deal background/history, value proposition
  • Maintain business plan tracking and compliance adherence
  • Prepare reporting and meeting presentations
  • Perform prospect and pipeline tracking duties
  • Assist in coordination across other Citi business lines
  • Schedule and manage meetings, coordinate logistics for external meetings, and maintain calendar of activities
  • Develop specific business plans, including closed loan goals, for each product and program sponsored and managed
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

  • Previous banking experience
  • Bi-lingual Spanish
  • History of working with local NY Market non-profit housing counseling agencies, diverse realtor organizations, and down payment assistance providers
