Retail & Group Reservation Agent

Job Description:

We are seeking a candidate based in Western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba). This full-time role offers the opportunity to be a valued member of our team, actively supporting daily business operations while contributing to Trip Merchant’s growth. Please see outlined key roles and responsibilities below:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • FIT and group travel bookings (including individual and group air bookings)
  • Fulfill private/tailor made travel requests
  • Invoicing/add customers to Travefy – Organizing CRM
  • Keeping Group Internal and Shared Rooming Lists Up to Date
  • Host group trips, when necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service, communication, and follow up
  • Adding group trip content to our Group Trip App for groups being handled

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

Hours:

This agreement is for a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours a week. There could be additional hours in situations where a proposal or other factors arise because of a deadline. The required hours will be during Trip Merchant’s business hours (Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm).

Compensation & Benefits:

For the position of the Retail & Group Reservation Agent, Trip Merchant Ltd. will offer you $55,000 CAD annually. Payroll is processed on a bi-weekly basis. Compensation will be subject to deductions for taxes and other withholdings as required by law or the policies of the company.

  • Additional to salary, bonus commission paid quarterly (Group and Retail Booking Incentives)
