Sales: Biological Innovation Specialist/Territory Manager

The <b>Biological Innovation Specialist, Pioneer, </b>will have a pivotal role in realizing Corteva's vision for customer experience and technical support for the biological portfolio within the primary corn and soybean growing regions of the Midwest US. Multiple locations are available.<br><br><b>Location available: MN</b><br><br>The<b> Biological Innovation Specialist </b>will act as the expert/primary technical contact for both Corteva biological products and industry-wide solutions, aiding in our mission to provide best-in-class support for customers within the assigned geography. The individual must display strong enthusiasm for agronomic innovation, helping customers succeed through well established relationships and effectively managing change to be successful within the role. Specific interest in the biological field of agriculture will be considered an asset. If hired, you will be required to travel as necessary to support business activities. Candidate should reside within the territory.<br><br><b>What You'll Do:</b><br><br><b>Business Acumen & Demand Generation: </b>the primary focus of this new role. <br><ul><li>Engage with growers and Pioneer Premier biological reps to demonstrate the value and benefits of Corteva's product range, increasing product adoption and customer loyalty.</li><li>Build and execute on a 1-3-year growth plan and supporting tactics for your territory.</li><li>Coach effective relationship-building, sales tactics, and negotiations through on-farm sales calls with Pioneer Premier biological reps for both existing customers and prospects.</li><li>Serve as a role model, teacher, and coach to Pioneer Premier biological reps to develop skills and knowledge required to provide an exceptional customer experience and deliver results.</li><li>Advocate for breakthrough ideas and solutions up and down the chain of command.</li><li>Manage new product introductions within the region in compliance with marketing strategies and objectives.</li><li>Set and manage sales targets, discounts, and growth plans with each Pioneer Premier biological rep for key customers and prospects.</li><li>Anticipate market opportunities and threats, and position your sales team to react, adapt and overcome.</li></ul><br><b>Technical Agronomic Support</b>: Provide in-depth technical guidance on Corteva's biological products, including application methods, efficacy, and safety protocols. Tailor agronomic advice and product positioning to specific regional challenges and crop needs.<br><br><b>Market Insights:</b> Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and competitive products. Use this knowledge to position Corteva's offerings strategically in the market.<br><br><b>Forecasting collaboration:</b> Assist business partners in forecasting product demand accurately and developing strategic business plans. Serve as a technical liaison in client discussions and presentations.<br><br><b>Educational Initiatives: </b>Present content at grower meetings, field days, and seminars to educate the agricultural community on product innovations, best practices, agronomic strategies and sustainable farming techniques.<br><br><b>Customer Relationship Management:</b> Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted advisor that clients rely on for expert advice and support. Ensure regular customer contact to capture insights for Corteva's product management team and deliver timely information.<br><br><b>Business Development</b>: Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of Corteva's market share in the region. Regularly report on market activities, customer feedback, and field results to the Field Specialist Leader and other stakeholders.<br><br><b>Respect for People: </b>Engage in respectful communication and collaboration with team members, clients, and community stakeholders. Lead by example in creating a positive work environment where all employees feel valued and empowered.<br><br><b>What You'll Need:</b><br><ul><li>B.S. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
