Senior Associate - Digital Transformation

The Senior Associate works collaboratively within a team of highly qualified Performance Transformation consultants to deliver performance improvement for healthcare organizations. This position will be primarily responsible for performing billable work for clients. The role of the Senior Associate is to actively lead and participate in engagement workstreams activities and deliverables to meet the objectives of the Statement of Work or internal project. The Senior Associate will be expected to: • Determine client needs in terms of the engagement statement of work • Lead, complete and provide quality assurance over data analyses • Interpret data analyses, form initial recommendations and develop potential solutions for consideration • Develop deliverables and presentation materials for various audiences • Assist in risk identification and mitigation • Manage workstream economics and project management • Assist in the implementation of recommended improvements • Meet project timelines and working with clients to obtain their “buy-in” to their team’s work products The Senior Associate will serve as a mentor and coach for junior staff. The Senior Associate will utilize Coker and Acuvance solutions and tools as needed. The Senior Associate will work cohesively in a team environment and will work with team and Practice leadership to professionally represent Coker and Acuvance in all settings. The Senior Associate is required to also participate in Coker internal activities including practice development, required and approved educational opportunities and learning the various technologies, methods and processes necessary for the completion of their work for clients. Additionally, the Senior Associate should: • Maintain utilization targets for client billable projects. • Create value through meaningful participation to grow and enrich the Practice as a whole or the individual Service Area within the Practice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: • Obtain data, execute/direct/oversee analyses, initiate interpretations, conclusions and prepare written, graphic and verbal presentations of analytics and recommendations for team leadership review. • Perform quality assurance on assigned workstream deliverables and on deliverables of staff assigned to them for mentorship or oversight on client related or internal projects. • Assist in determining client needs by effectively participating in client interviews and summarizing findings and observations. • Effectively execute on project plans in alignment with Statement of Works. • Effectively engage with clients in a professional and responsible manner representing Coker and our work in an ethical manner. • Leads project workstreams where appropriate • Complete assigned work as requested by team leadership to accomplish the Statement of Work including all analytics, reports, implementation processes with the client, etc. • Participate in project management related activities as assigned. • Manage the budget and expenses for their assigned workstream or project. • Participate in risk and issue identification and mitigation along with the project leadership team. • Participate in practice development activities. • Participate in methodology and tool development within their Service Area. • Actively listens for market opportunities on current engagements and networks and communicates potential leads to leadership. • Complete training requirements on an annual basis as requested. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university – Required • Master’s degree and/or additional certifications (MBA, ASA, ABV, CVA, CFA, CPA, etc.) - Preferred • 4 years applicable experience in Supply Chain, Health Systems Finance, Operations (clinical, support or operations), Pharmacy, Information Technology, Operational or Strategic Consulting, Strategic Planning or Decision Support Analytics – Required GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS • Proficient in Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint and has familiarity with Business Intelligence Tools • Able to conduct thorough and relevant analyses and oversee and mentor others in the production of client deliverables • Coordinate and deliver effective presentations (verbal and written) to client audiences to communicate project outcomes, recommendations, and strategy • Able to manage their time effectively and the time of others on their workstream as needed • Able to lead workstreams, including staff and work effort • Able to quality assure other people’s work • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Able to exercise good judgement as to when to make decisions versus consult with leadership • Must be highly motivated, self-sufficient, perceptive and high-energy • Must have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION QUALIFICATIONS Candidates may bring foundational skills in either or both areas: • Patient Access & Digital Front Door o Basic understanding of patient access functions such as scheduling, referrals, templates, and call center operations o Foundational understanding of patient and consumer digital touchpoints (online scheduling, MyChart, reminders, pre-visit workflows) o Ability to support analytics and contribute to provider template reviews o Foundational Epic scheduling knowledge (visit types, slot patterns, restrictions) • Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Automation o Exposure to concepts in AI-powered workflow automation, digital assistants, or robotic process automation o Experience in applying automation tools to reduce manual effort, improve patient experience, or streamline access workflows o Ability to support early-stage analysis for potential AI or RPA opportunities o Familiarity with basic concepts of prompt engineering, automation logic, or digital intake workflows TRAVEL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS • This position requires travel (20% or more) • Epic Certification(s) preferred • Engineering, Math, & Computer Science degrees preferred • Introductory training in Generative AI, Automation preferred Apply tot his job
