JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Consultant of AI Strategy will be a critical strategic leader driving innovative AI transformation for clients. Working alongside our AI Solutioning and Governance teams, this role will serve as a pivotal bridge between innovative AI technologies and strategic business outcomes. Bringing deep expertise in AI strategy, the Senior Consultant will provide our clients with guidance and leading frameworks to build successful programs for our consulting teams, transforming how their organizations conceptualize, implement, and derive value from artificial intelligence. Key responsibilities include developing forward-looking AI adoption frameworks, identifying emerging technological opportunities, and crafting holistic AI strategies that align with clients' long-term business objectives. This role supports the identification and qualification of AI use cases, focusing on creating transformative AI roadmaps that drive competitive advantages, operational efficiency, and innovation across diverse industries. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: I. AI Strategy & Planning • Develop comprehensive AI strategy frameworks that align with our largest client's long-term business objectives. • Conduct market research to identify emerging AI trends and potential strategic opportunities to develop and drive impactful Go-to-Market strategies. • Create strategic road maps for AI adoption and digital transformation across different industry verticals. • Evolve and execute AI use case workshops and process mapping methodology. • Develop thought leadership content and strategic positioning for the company's AI capabilities. II. Teamwork • Coordinate approach with Innovation, Governance, Data and Analytics, and AI Solutioning to ensure offerings align with Trace3 business objectives and growth strategies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI strategy with overall product and services strategy. • Support sales/account teams by providing expertise in AI strategy and use case development during sales pursuits and client engagement. III. Strategic Collaboration • Engage with C-level executives to articulate AI strategy, potential business impacts, and transformative opportunities. • Facilitate strategic AI workshops and executive briefings to align technological capabilities with business vision. • Develop cross-functional AI strategy alignment mechanisms between technology, business units, and leadership. • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key AI technology partners and thought leaders. IV. AI Capabilities Sales and Delivery • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their challenges, gather, and analyze data, and define actionable road maps. • Lead AI use case discovery workshops to identify, qualify, and prioritize AI-ready use cases for solution development. • Develop comprehensive AI strategy assessments for enterprises across various industries. • Guide clients through technology/data selection, rationalization, and build vs buy decisions. • Lead resources directly and through cross-functional teams; exhibit strong leadership to drive high-performing teams. • Manage the scope, requirements, resources, and budget for all assigned projects. • Continuously monitor and create transparency through the communication of project status, issues, and risks to internal teams and our client V. Thought Leadership • Stay updated on the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices to inform strategy development and implementation. • Develop forward-looking AI strategy publications and research. • Represent Trace3 at AI conferences and industry forums. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree/certifications preferred. • 8+ years' experience leading technical consulting engagements with a focus on data science, data transformation, AI/data architectures, advanced analytics, or similar platform implementation • 5+ years' experience developing successful data science, advanced analytics, or AI deployment and integration strategies. • Understanding of generative AI-related concepts, including retrieval augmented generation ("RAG"), MCP, quantization, Agentic AI, and prompt engineering. • Familiarity with common AI and Machine Learning technologies, methods, tools (e.g., GitHub, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), programming languages (Python, R, etc.), and data architecture patterns. • Comfortable with leading a room of diverse stakeholders towards identifying and prioritizing AI opportunities. • Relevant AI/ML certifications preferred but not required (e.g., Azure Machine Learning Specialty, arenaflex Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, etc.). • Up-to-date understanding of AI industry trends and emerging technologies. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills, and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment. • Ability to approach customer requests with a proactive and consultative manner; listen and understand user requests and needs, and effectively deliver. • Strong influencing skills to get things done and inspire business transformation. • Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills with an ability to present AI-related concepts to C-Level Executives and non-technical audiences. • Conflict negotiation and critical thinking skills and agility. • Ability to travel when needed.
