Role Summary

Anthropologie is seeking an experienced and creative senior concept designer who exhibits a natural curiosity and strong ability to innovate. This position will focus on the research and development of seasonal print and pattern trends and concepts for the Anthropologie apparel brands.

  • Strong connection and knowledge of past & emerging print and pattern trends found within art, design, and fashion.
  • Utilize AI to create emotive imagery that is trend forward & supports concept Directives.

Process

  • Proactively prepare for weekly concept meetings, updating & developing print trends in reaction to feedback.
  • Lead seasonal trend & concept workload to meet all deadlines.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the department’s calendar, including key events, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of the Anthro Apparel business as it relates to LY and Plan.
  • Awareness of successes & opportunities found in weekly business, seasonal hindsight, and quarterly Print Attributes.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine art, textile design, graphic design, or related experience necessary.
  • 8-10 years of experience in print or textile industry.
  • Experienced in trend forecasting, print design, and apparel design.
  • Advanced creative and technical skills in Adobe photoshop & Indesign.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Power Point.
  • Experience in creative image creation using AI platforms.
