This is not a behind-the-scenes role-it's a front-row seat to the biggest moments in sports, culture, and fandom. You'll shape how PrizePicks shows up in the world: what we say, how we say it, and how we spark connections with fans at the speed of the game.<br><br>This leader will oversee four core pillars: <strong>social content & storytelling, live game-time activation, community development, and social insights & intelligence.</strong> You'll manage a high-performing team of creatives, content strategists, and community managers-all focused on turning cultural moments into brand momentum.<br><br>From NFL Sundays to NBA tip-offs, from TikTok trends to Discord debates, you'll drive a best-in-class social and community strategy that's fan-first, data-informed, and platform-native. Your mission: make PrizePicks one of the most engaging, talked-about, and culturally relevant brands in sports.<br><strong><strong>What you'll do:</strong></strong><br><strong><strong>Social Content & Storytelling</strong></strong><br><ul><li>Own and evolve the social strategy & content vision across Meta/Instagram, X, TikTok, Discord, and emerging platforms</li><li>Build a repeatable, editorialized content system blending evergreen narratives, product storytelling, and cultural sports moments</li><li>Collaborate and manage key Creative agency partners and vendors to concept and produce high-quality, social-first series and campaign extensions</li><li>Stay ahead of platform innovations and emerging tech (eg, AI content tools), bringing a test-and-learn mindset to the team</li><li>Manage the content calendar across platforms, aligning with brand and promotional priorities</li></ul><strong><strong>Live Game-Time Coverage & Real-Time Social</strong></strong><br><ul><li>Lead real-time social output strategy, driving engagement by activating brand voice with speed and impact, especially during key live sports moments</li><li>Build a scalable live coverage system with prepped templates, team shifts, and escalation protocols</li><li>Create timely, culturally relevant content that celebrates user wins, athlete milestones, and in-app moments</li><li>Partner cross-functionally to spotlight live product experiences during peak game windows</li></ul><strong><strong>Community Development & Engagement</strong></strong><br><ul><li>Grow and nurture a vibrant fan community across Discord, Instagram, X, TikTok, Reddit and more</li><li>Develop engagement programs that reward loyalty, spark conversation, and spotlight superfans</li><li>Moderate and engage with the community in a witty, responsive, and brand-right voice</li><li>Work with the Live Events & Experiential team to develop a cohesive plan that enables our passionate online communities to engage with both the company and with each other offline / IRL, too, especially during relevant key sports moments throughout the year. </li><li>Partner with CX, CRM, and Product to close feedback loops and turn user input into action</li></ul><strong><strong>Social Intelligence & Reporting</strong></strong><br><ul><li>Build and own a robust social measurement and insights framework tied to business goals, extracting actionable intelligence and understanding key trends from social listening and performance dashboards</li><li>Deliver clear, narrative-driven reports to cross-functional and executive stakeholders, illustrating the connection between social/community impact and company / business goals</li><li>Use social data to influence brand strategy, content strategy, product innovation, and cultural positioning</li></ul><strong><strong>Lead a World-Class Team</strong></strong><br><ul><li>Build, grow, mentor and lead a world-class team. Set clear goals and priorities. Track progress towards key milestones. At PrizePicks, we consider your role, level, and where you'll be working when determining our salary ranges.
