Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) video entertainment service, offering premium branded content alongside a broad general entertainment library, appealing to families and adults alike. The service consists of long-form and short-form video built around six key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. smart TVs, mobile devices).

The Audience Measurement and Insight team work across the Disney Advertising, Media Networks, Content Sales and Content Development divisions, and is tasked with delivering best in class measurement, data and insight to support the objectives of each business area.

We are looking to expand our team. The Senior Manager, Measurement and Insight, will support the Disney+ Advertising UK sales team, bringing a depth of expertise in the UK media planning and advertising effectiveness landscape. This role will develop clear, compelling narratives to showcase the unique nature of the Disney+ advertising environment (The Disney Difference) to ensure an optimal toolkit to support the requirements from agency planners and deliver evidence of the value that partnering with us delivers for client campaigns.

This role will work hand-in-hand with the regional advertising measurement and insight team, data partnerships lead, and the UK Disney Advertising sales team.

This position requires someone to work from our Hammersmith offices 4 days a week.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

  • Lead media measurement and insights for Disney+ UK advertising supported tier
  • Ensure delivery of an optimal toolkit to support the inclusion of Disney+ in the agency planning process
  • Be an expert in the UK AV advertising market landscape and industry initiatives
  • Create and present compelling client facing narratives illustrating our unique proposition by drawing on a range of data, measurement, industry and audience insights to position the strengths of Disney+
  • Participate in client and agency meetings (e.g. roadmap planning, measurement approach, debriefs), roadshows and events with sales team
  • Determine Disney’s POV on third party vendors and industry initiatives to guide decisions on representation, partnerships and engagements
  • Collaborate with the regional Audience Measurement and Insight team to deliver insights, post campaign effectiveness studies and thought-leadership studies

The Experience & Skills We Require From You

  • Highly experienced advertising sales research and measurement and/or AV or digital agency planning background
  • Inquisitive mindset to understand how advertising best delivers brand objectives
  • Experienced in creating compelling client facing narratives drawing on a range of 1st party data, measurement and audience insights to illustrate the power of advertising with Disney+
  • Hands on experienced in delivering effectiveness measurement studies (Reach & Frequency, Brand lift, Matched-Market testing, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Models, Outcomes)
  • Detailed understanding of UK media measurement and industry landscape (BARB, Origin, Thinkbox, IPA etc)
  • Experienced in using a wide range of third-party partners to develop commercial narrative (Techedge, TGI, GWI)
  • Enjoys and is confident in presenting to a wide range of stakeholders at both small- and large-scale meetings or events
  • Ability to work independently and pro-actively with a high attention to detail
