This transformation will establish a unified system that integrates core business processes, delivers real-time financial visibility, and enables advanced analytics to support faster, more informed decision-making.<br><br>Having completed our global blueprint workshops, we are entering the execution phase—configuring, building, testing, and deploying the solution that will power the future of RTX.<br><br><strong>This is a high-visibility role within the Record to Report (R2R) Value Stream, specifically in the Costing Tower, focused on Cost Allocations.</strong> Within the R2R value stream—the financial information backbone of RTX—you will help modernize and harmonize how we allocate costs across the enterprise. The Costing Tower encompasses:<br><br><ul><li>Inventory costing methods (Standards & PMMO)</li><li>Cost allocations</li><li>Project accounting</li><li>Labor accounting</li><li>Collaboration accounting<br><br></li></ul>You will work across businesses to build consensus, ensure design integrity, and guide configuration decisions that directly influence enterprise-wide financial operations. This position requires strong leadership presence, influence without authority, and the ability to drive alignment across a highly matrixed global organization.<br><br><strong>Why This Role Is Exciting:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Play a pivotal role in shaping the future-state cost allocation model for the global enterprise. </li><li>Influence how RTX standardizes labor distribution, rate application, and overhead allocations across multiple business units. </li><li>Partner with senior stakeholders, business process owners, digital and our system integration team to bring a global design to life. </li><li>Help drive one of RTX’s most significant, multi-year transformation initiatives—modernizing finance for speed, transparency, and scale. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Do: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate and implement the global design for cost allocations across multiple business units, ensuring alignment and consistency. </li><li>Support development of a global cost allocation template, including labor distribution, rate application, and overhead allocations. </li><li>Partner with our digital & system integration team to support configuration, build, testing, and deployment activities. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to harmonize future-state business processes. </li><li>Influence key system configuration decisions impacting allocations and broader financial integration. </li><li>Drive alignment across Business Units, Enterprise Services, and Corporate Functions. </li><li>Support change management efforts aligned with the oneRTX vision. </li><li>Travel up to ~25% as needed. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications You Must Have:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience. </li><li>Demonstrated experience with self-directed leadership and ability to drive outcomes in matrixed environments, with strong communication and influence skills without formal authority. </li><li>Extensive experience in aerospace & defense finance, particularly within R2R functions, including cost accounting, labor accounting, rates, and allocations. </li><li>Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-visibility programs. </li><li>Effective collaborator across functions, businesses, and leadership levels, with a track record of leading change in large-scale transformation environments. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications We Prefer: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Familiarity with FAR and Government Accounting. </li><li>Experience supporting ERP implementations, ideally with SAP. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Offer: <br><br></strong>Whether you’re just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package with compensation; healthcare, wellness, retirement and work/life benefits; career development and recognition programs. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
