Writers who leave a trace within their readers. Inspired by Virginia Woolf and the Hogarth Press, they publish both their own work and the work of others who share their commitment to creative freedom. </p><p>Based in Scotland, their co-founders are women writers who live in Edinburgh and West Wales. </p><p>Fingerprint Editions publish fiction, non-fiction, and poetry and are agnostic on length, form and genre while caring deeply about quality, diversity and relevance. They believe those who write from the margins, out of step with trend and who defy classification, have most to share. Hence, the covers of their books are red: the colour of vibrancy, danger and courage. They publish both contemporary works as well as reprints. </p><p>Fingerprint Editions plan to publish at least six books a year beginning in Summer 2025. </p><p>Fingerprint Editions need strategic guidance on how to best establish their brand in the busy marketplace of publishing alongside the ability to develop rapidly a network of relationships and connections which will gain them both industry attention and a strong and loyal community of subscribing readers. </p><p>Their main channels are the Fingerprint Editions website, social media, and live ‘openings’. They need strategies for maximising their ability to engage through these with impressive conversion rates to the subscribing community and other sales. </p><p>Fingerprint Editions’ strategy and its success need to be visible through consumer insight and analytics with clear goals backed by data-driven customer care and monitoring systems. </p><p><strong>Who you are </strong> </p><p>You are gutsy and visionary with extensive experience in gaining market traction for a disruptive, new brand in the publishing industry. </p><p>You have an extensive network within the publishing industry and are bold in building new relationships. You are pro-active in making connections with tangible results. </p><p>You have a deep understanding of how to build a digital subscriber community and are led by data and a fundamental understanding of how to minimise churn amongst subscribers. You are experienced in providing clear guidance and support to a digital and social media assistant. </p><p>You love the mission of Fingerprint Editions and are excited by the prospect of helping it become a stand-out publisher of women writers who make a mark, leaving a trace within their readers.
