About the Role: The Senior Quality & Training Specialist is a critical driver of TailorCare’s clinical and operational excellence strategy. With a primary focus on quality, this role brings strong analytical capabilities and operational insight to proactively assess performance, identify risks, and build scalable quality programs. Drawing from deep experience in healthcare quality assurance and training, the Senior Specialist plays a lead role in standing up new processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with clinical and documentation standards. This role also supports the Quality Steering Committee, contributing insights and recommendations to help shape organizational quality strategy. The Senior Specialist collaborates cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and compliance leaders to reinforce high standards of care and service delivery. They also support training delivery and content maintenance, ensuring that onboarding and continuing education efforts remain aligned with quality goals. Primary Responsibilities: Quality Assurance (75%) • Lead quality monitoring efforts through chart reviews, call audits, and documentation analysis, proactively identifying performance risks and improvement opportunities. • Analyze large volumes of quality data to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of interventions, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. • Develop, implement, and continuously refine scalable quality assurance programs in collaboration with clinical and operational leaders. • Support and contribute to the Quality Steering Committee through performance reporting, insights, and recommendations that align with organizational goals. • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on root cause analyses, corrective action plans, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives. • Manage and enhance quality scorecards and dashboards, translating metrics into actionable feedback for frontline managers and executive leaders. • Monitor compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards, ensuring risks are promptly escalated and addressed. • Contribute to grievance tracking and resolution efforts, identifying systemic issues and supporting preventive interventions. • Serve as a subject matter expert and partner to operational leadership in coaching, calibration, and documentation best practices. Training Support (25%) • Deliver targeted training sessions to support onboarding and skill-building across clinical and non-clinical roles (e.g., Care Coordinators, Care Advocates, Clinical Navigators, Health Coaches, and Member Support). • Collaborate with the Manager, Training & Quality and other internal partners to update and enhance training content based on quality insights and evolving workflows. • Help maintain the SOP and training repository to ensure accessibility and version control. • Support tracking of training completions, assessments, and competency milestones. • Track and analyze training effectiveness and competency milestones to inform future learning strategies. Other • Participate in special projects such as new market launches, system implementations, and workflow updates. • Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Operations, or related field. • 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare quality assurance, clinical operations, training, or performance improvement. • Demonstrated experience building or scaling quality programs in a clinical or healthcare operations setting. • Advanced data analysis skills, with the ability to draw insights from performance trends and translate them into action. • Strong understanding of quality assurance frameworks, competency tracking, and regulatory compliance in healthcare. • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Experience contributing to governance bodies such as quality committees or cross-functional task forces is strongly preferred. • Proficient in arenaflex Suite, learning management systems (LMS), and quality documentation/reporting tools. • Familiarity with adult learning principles and continuous quality improvement methodologies. • Ability to operate autonomously, influence across teams, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
