Our Mission at Friendship Village of Dublin is “<em><strong>To care for, engage, and inspire our community to reimagine and maximize quality of life at every age”</strong></em>.<br><br>At Friendship Village our Values Drive us to <strong>RISE</strong> to any Occasion<br><br><strong>Values<br><br></strong><strong>R</strong>espect<br><br><strong>I</strong>ntegrity and <strong>I</strong>nnovation<br><br><strong>S</strong>tewardship<br><br><strong>E</strong>xcellence<br><br>We are looking for a Server within our Culinary Department to provide 5-star service and create meaningful and lasting relationships with those who call Friendship Village home, our Residents!<br><br><em>Essential Duties<br><br></em><ul><li>Greets residents and guests with a smile and answers pertinent questions about menu items.</li><li>Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order.</li><li>Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously.</li><li>Delivers food in a timely manner and attends to the needs of the guests throughout the dining experience.</li><li>Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.</li><li>Provides consistently high levels of customer service for our residents and their guests, adapting to the needs and service level expectations associated with each dining location.</li><li>Assists with dish washing and distribution of clean dishes if needed.</li><li>Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in work areas.</li><li>Exhibits acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.</li><li>Completes all assigned cleaning tasks.</li><li>Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.</li><li>Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.</li><li>Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.</li><li>Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.</li><li>Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.
