First Student is hiring immediately for a Service Employee for our Taftville, CT location serving the Norwich, Lisbon, Sprague, Stonington, New London, and Waterford school districts!

About the Service Employee Position

As a Service Employee, you will help maintain fleet readiness by supporting daily vehicle care and yard operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fueling buses and checking fluid levels

  • Cleaning bus interiors and exteriors

  • Performing basic facility and yard maintenance

  • Safely moving and parking buses within the yard

  • Assisting technicians and operations staff as needed

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Supporting overall operational readiness of the fleet
