<p><strong>Job Title: Set Up Operator</strong><p><strong>Job Descriptio</strong><p>We are currently seeking experienced set up operators to join our team on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operating, setting up machinery, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance. A robust training program will be provided, requiring new hires to train on 1st shift before transitioning to their designated shift. Our organization offers detailed performance reviews, significant room for growth, and the opportunity to build a long-term career.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Machine and perform final inspection on products.</li><li>Make adjustments on machinery to adjust heights, speeds, and feeds.</li><li>Work from drawings and blueprints.</li><li>Obtain raw materials before performing job duties.</li><li>Organize products into correct areas.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Machine operating or higher-level assembly experience.</li><li>Experience in troubleshooting or preventative maintenance on machinery.</li><li>Ability to lift 45 pounds.</li><li>Proficiency in working from blueprints or drawings.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in a fabrication shop or automotive industry (beyond oil changes) is advantageous.</li><li>Candidates from Lennox and similar companies have been successful in this role.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work Here?</strong><p>Once permanent, enjoy benefits such as joining a union after 90 days, a series of raises within the first year, and ample room for growth. The 2nd shift operates from 2pm to 10:30pm with a shift differential, and the 3rd shift runs from 10pm to 6:30am with a higher shift differential. Overtime opportunities are available but not mandatory.</p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicopee, MA.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $24.29 - $25.79/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
