Job Description

HII-Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Site Survey Team Lead with experience supporting DoD and Acquisition programs. We are looking for someone with a passion for solving complex problems, developing solutions in fast-paced environments, and supporting diverse teams in addressing hard problems. This position will be eligible for remote work and will have extensive global travel requirements but to 50%.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Command (AFLCMC) is responsible for the development and fielding of multiple Counter-small Unmanned Aerial System (C-sUAS) technologies. This position leads a team of subject matter experts in the assessment and planning for the future acquisition, installation, and fielding of C-sUAS projects at multiple Air Force installations and bases in, and outside of, the Continental United States. You will be a key part of a diverse team, leading Hll's support to these efforts, coordinating work with government entities and subcontract partners, and helping represent AFLCMC's efforts to develop and field this emerging technology.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing mission support to team of HII and subcontract personnel, including budgeting support, scheduling, task oversight, and daily operations management
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through recurring in-progress review, installation/base status, and financial review meetings
  • Assist in the definition of installation/base-project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Lead development and implementation of new workflows and scheduling to support program requirements
  • Assist with contract financial plans, forecasts, and cost assessments
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions
  • Represent HII in independent meetings and discussions with key AFLCMC and installation/base stakeholders
  • Lead event planning efforts for multiple in-person installation/base visits and surveys
  • Assess program risk and develop mitigations and solutions
  • Set the conditions for program growth and expansion


Minimum Qualifications

  • 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
  • Experience managing tasks and completing projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Excellent written and communication skills with experience briefing senior/executive leadership
  • Critical thinking, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to travel as needed and on short notice
  • Proficiency with MS Office products and working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance


Preferred Requirements

  • Graduate Degree in business administration, engineering, or related fields
  • DOD acquisition, technology development, systems integration, operations, and contract experience
  • Experience working with large and small system manufacturers and integrators


Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, or outdoor environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating heights and extreme temperature variances.
