The OpportunityAs Flock’s video output continues to grow in volume, ambition, and operational complexity, the Senior Film Producer role is responsible for owning all pre-production and on-site production logistics that make high-quality video possible.
This role is the backbone of our video production engine. The Senior Film Producer ensures that shoots are planned thoroughly, crews are aligned, customers and partners are informed and comfortable, and productions run smoothly from arrival through wrap. While this role does not own creative direction or post-production, it is critical to ensuring our creative teams can focus on storytelling by removing friction, risk, and uncertainty before cameras roll.
This is a highly hands-on, travel-heavy role that requires exceptional organization, communication, and calm under pressure. The Senior Film Producer will work closely with internal video leads, external freelancers, customers, and cross-functional partners to execute productions that reflect Flock’s brand, values, and operational excellence.
In addition to owning production logistics, this role requires meaningful experience conducting interviews on set. At times, the Senior Film Producer will not only prepare interview subjects and environments, but will also step into the role of interviewer in front of or behind the camera. This requires confidence, presence, and the ability to represent Flock with credibility, empathy and professionalism across a wide range of real-world scenarios.
The Skillset5+ years of experience in film, video, or commercial production, with a primary focus on pre-production and on-site production logistics

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to set expectations clearly, build trust quickly, and represent Flock with empathy and professionalism
High comfort level operating in dynamic, unpredictable environments, adapting plans in real time without compromising safety or production quality
Strong organizational systems and attention to detail, with the ability to track logistics across people, locations, timelines, and gear
Experience sourcing, booking, and managing freelance crew and vendors across different geographies
Confidence leading on-site production operations and serving as the primary point of coordination during shoots
Ability to remain calm, solutions-oriented, and decisive under pressure
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 100%) and work non-traditional hours as production requires
Demonstrated experience working alongside drone operators or producing projects involving aerial footage

Ensure production remains respectful, professional, and aligned with Flock’s brand and values
On-Camera Interviewing & Subject Management
Conduct on-camera interviews when required, ranging from C-suite executives and elected officials to law enforcement leaders, victims of crime and concerned community members
Prepare interview subjects in advance by setting expectations, building rapport and ensuring comfort and clarity around the process
Navigate sensitive conversations with tact, empathy and sound judgment while maintaining the integrity of the production and Flock’s brand
Adapt interview approach and communication style to suit different audiences, emotional contexts, and power dynamics
Represent Flock professionally on camera in high-visibility, high-stakes environments

Coordinate craft services and meals appropriate to shoot length, crew size, and location
Support equipment logistics in partnership with the video team, including transport, readiness, and care
