Sr. Planner, CCS Support Operations

About the position

We are looking for the right individual to join a growing team to lead the development of databases that drive program performance, lead the coordination and aggregation of connected vehicle data that spans from manufacture through the customer journey, and analytically support all program aspects including: equipped, activation, sold, usage, dealer performance & customer concern resolution of Nissan and Infiniti connected car (mobile apps & telematics services) issues. The Digital Operations Senior Planner works to provide accurate data to drive customer satisfaction with connected car features through the improvement of the customer journey and promotion of connected car benefits. The Digital Operations Senior Planner also works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Nissan Digital, Vendors, and other departments. Ensure data quality and process alignment across CCS platforms, partners, and the global Nissan enterprise to maintain accurate and synchronized customer information for all connected products. Lead development and migration of executive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to measure vehicle and customer engagement across all CCS products, ensuring alignment with business goals. Design, build, and maintain high-quality, user-accessible databases that track the complete customer journey—from manufacture to final vehicle disposition—while continuously improving data standards, reporting accuracy, and cleansing processes. Collaborate with Operations, Platform, Engineering, and IS teams to automate and enhance dashboards for performance monitoring, vehicle readiness, customer onboarding, and executive reporting. Analyze large datasets using advanced analytics to monitor KPIs such as sales, enrollments, app engagement, and conversion rates, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support data-driven decision-making and business improvements. Coordinate cross-functional reporting and analysis for Nissan and Infiniti Connected Services, including inventory, sales, provisioning, usage, and program impact, while fulfilling KPI reporting requests from leadership and other departments. Direct technical teams to launch new products and features, including AI-driven solutions for inventory, sales, customer experience, and mobile app data. Provide strategic planning and architectural oversight by identifying technical requirements, dependencies, and risks, and ensuring infrastructure optimization and alignment with evolving business needs. Facilitate interface management between internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and performance of interconnected data systems. Influence system design and data architecture decisions by translating complex data into actionable recommendations, enabling integration of diverse datasets into Snowflake Cloud for broader platform connectivity. Support cloud-based reporting strategies in collaboration with Nissan Digital, promoting data accuracy, security, and compliance with privacy standards. Apply advanced analytical and statistical methods to manage project scope, milestones, and resource planning across functional areas. Oversee API setup for secure SFTP data transfers between internal and external business units.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, interface across all management levels, and make sound, innovative decisions independently.
  • Understanding of production, marketing, sales, call center, and dealer support functions, with proven ability to align technical solutions to business needs.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, visualization, troubleshooting, and writing complex calculations in Tableau, Power BI, and Excel (including VBA).
  • Experience with software/system implementation, network operations/design, and cloud technologies, including AWS, Snowflake, SQL, and AI/ML applications.
  • Skilled in translating research, data, and industry trends to guide strategic product direction and system enhancements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Salesforce, and Oracle BI.
  • Experienced with big data platforms and tools, including VINPIPE, AWS, and Snowflake.
  • Skilled in working with web-based and enterprise systems from a functional perspective, with a strong ability to collaborate with technical teams to enhance system integration and automate legacy databases.
  • 6+ years of directly related professional marketing and operations experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with NNA vehicle telematics (can overlap with the above).
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment, and ability to juggle multiple priorities on a compressed delivery schedule.
  • Prior experience with project/program management
  • Direct experience equivalent or bachelor’s degree required.
