The deadline for all the application materials and assessments to be completed is March 16, 2026. #summerinternship Summer Internship program will start on 6/1 and run through 7/31 The Intern supports departmental operations within an assigned department while gaining hands-on, practical experience in the healthcare field. Interns work under the supervision of a department leader or designee and contribute to daily operations, projects such as research or strategic initiatives as well as other duties as assigned. Work under the supervision of a department leader or designee to complete assigned duties. Assist with operational, administrative or professional tasks aligned with department needs and the intern’s academic program. Observe, document, and communicate work progress, findings, or issues to the supervising leader or team. Interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization using appropriate communication methods. Participate in staff meetings, project meetings, and interdisciplinary discussions as requested. Proactively seek out learning opportunities, manage time effectively, and appropriately prioritize assignments. Follow all organizational policies, procedures, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements. 12 bed ICU that specializes in the care of non-traumatic brain injuries and other diagnoses that include but not limited to Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke, Seizure Disorders, Brain Tumor/Cancer, an Neuromuscular Conditions. This until also serves as the alternative unit for neurosurgery patients. The Receptionist Clerk serves as the front line to receive and greet patients and visitors for the Nursing Unit. The Receptionist Clerk answers calls made to the nursing department and answers questions or forwards to appropriate area if unable to answer inquiry. Receive mail and distribute to appropriate personnel for processing. Assists nursing staff with data entry as needed. What We Require: Education: Two years of High School required. Experience: None required. Licensure, certification, and/or registration/Life Support: May be required to obtain/maintain BLS. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Good interpersonal, organizational, communication, and listening skills. Manual dexterity and visual perception. Job requires good hearing, clear understandable speech, and good finger dexterity.
