Job Description:
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations while working hands-on with the team to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met. This role serves as a key point of contact between warehouse associates and management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Lead and support a team of warehouse associates during daily operations
-Unload and break down freight (e.g., trucks, trailers, rail cars) alongside team members
-Assign tasks, prioritize workflow, and monitor productivity throughout the shift
-Sort, organize, repack, label, and stage freight accurately and efficiently
-Operate and oversee the safe use of material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, conveyors, bailers, compactors, shrink wrappers)
-Train new associates on warehouse procedures, RF scanner use, and safety standards
-Ensure accurate scanning, packing, and documentation of freight using RF Scanner technology
-Identify and report damaged freight, unusable pallets, and equipment issues
-Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer SOPs
-Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
-Enforce safety policies and lead by example in safe work practices
-Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding performance, issues, and workflow updates
-Assist management with reporting, attendance tracking, and coaching as needed
-Other duties as assigned

Pay Range: $24.00 - $24.00 per hour
Pay Scale: Not applicable

Job Requirements:
-Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience (Team Lead or leadership experience preferred)
-Prior experience leading or training others strongly preferred
-Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
-Certification on warehouse material handling equipment preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack)
-Proven ability to meet and drive fast-paced productivity goals
-Strong communication and leadership skills
-Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
-Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak/seasonal volumes
-Ability to work in various climate conditions (including coolers/freezers if applicable)
-Reliable transportation and consistent on-time attendance
-Ability to stand, walk, and climb for 8–10 hours per shift
-Safety shoes required
-Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
