What You'll Be Doing

  • Be involved in and aware of all aspects of the day-to-day cement terminal operations
  • Operate and maintain terminal equipment such as track mobile or car pullers, etc. and machinery. Inspect, Load and unload materials from trucks and railcars. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment problems to minimize downtime and ensure proper operation
  • Ensure accuracy of orders, documents, troubleshoot any discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment. Performing housekeeping of the facility
  • Assist with inventory management and record-keeping.

What Are We Looking For

  • Familiar with trans loader conveying system to unload railcars, using a track mobile to move railcars.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to operate heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

  • Role is located in London, KY and operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
