This role in not eligible for sponsorship.</span></b></p><p></p><p><b>Business Job Title:  Trade Representative – Luxury Kitchen Ventilation</b></p><p></p><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p>The Trade Representative drives the strategic growth of Best, the leading luxury brand in kitchen ventilation. This role focuses on building strong relationships with designers, builders, architects, and showroom professionals to position Best as the premium choice for high-end kitchen projects. The Trade Representative will identify new business opportunities, influence specifications, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver exceptional brand experiences and increase market share.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Business Development & Relationship Management<ul><li>Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers in the design and building community, including interior designers, kitchen specialists, architects, and builders.</li><li>Identify and support strategic kitchen studios and showrooms to drive Best product specifications.</li><li>Coordinate joint sales calls with dealer sales teams to strengthen trade engagement.</li></ul></li><li>Brand Advocacy & Education<ul><li>Conduct product presentations, CEU classes, and training sessions to showcase Best’s design, performance, and customization options.</li><li>Represent Best at trade shows, design expos, and industry events (ASID, AIA, NKBA, NAHB, NARI) to build brand awareness and loyalty.</li><li>Host trade meetings and events in Best showrooms and partner locations.</li></ul></li><li>Market Intelligence & Strategy<ul><li>Monitor design trends and competitive programs to inform product positioning and innovation strategies.</li><li>Gather feedback from the field to enhance go-to-market plans and improve brand performance.</li><li>Maintain Salesforce CRM to capture and track trade leads and project opportunities.</li></ul></li><li>Collaborative Marketing & Social Engagement<ul><li>Partner with Marketing to execute promotional campaigns, co-branded events, and showroom merchandising initiatives.</li><li>Engage with designers and influencers on social media to grow Best’s presence and respond to feedback.</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience in trade-focused sales or business development within luxury appliances, kitchen design, or related industries.</li><li>Strong network within the design/build community and ability to influence specifications.</li><li>Excellent presentation, communication, and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">relationship-building</span> skills.</li><li>Ability to travel regionally for trade events, showroom visits, and client meetings.</li><li>Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills & Competencies:</b></p><ul><li>Strategic thinker with a passion for design and luxury products.</li><li>Highly organized and self-motivated with strong project management skills.</li><li>Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments.</li><li>Social media savvy and comfortable engaging with influencers and design professionals.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Job Requirements: </b></p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or equivalent experience.</li><li>1 to 3 years of previous experience in a field sales role – preferably in a appliance or building products.</li><li>Excellent people skills; effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills.</li><li>Strong administrative skills (i.e., salesforce.com, excel, word, power-point, mapping software).</li><li>Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills. </li><li>Have and maintain a valid issued driver’s license. </li><li>Strong business acumen and proven experience calling on Customers using a consultative and goal-oriented sales approach. </li><li>Have an entrepreneurial owner’s mindset by being a self-starter and having a strong work ethic, love of sales, and the drive to get out in the field and support existing business and/or pursue new business daily.</li><li>Highly motivated, disciplined, organized and detail oriented that fosters an understanding of and adherence to sales processes and policies.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to spend 90% of daily activity in the field – this includes required job-site visits.</li><li>Ability to travel overnight up to 25% of the time to visit customers and Broan – NuTone events.</li><li>Ability to work remotely, with much of your time in the field.</li><li>Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodation</li></ul><p></p><p><i>At Broan NuTone, we take pride in offering exceptional benefit packages and a highly competitive pay structure to our employees.
