Vice President, International Content Marketing (arenaflex+ and arenaflex)

The Vice President, International Content Marketing, will lead the development of global marketing strategies and campaigns for arenaflex+ and arenaflex original programming that is developed and produced outside the United States. They will work closely with regional marketing leaders who are responsible for executing title campaigns in local territories globally and they will lead a team who drives the campaigns in the domestic US market. This role bridges the worlds of creative development, platform strategy, cultural and market insights, and marketing levers to ensure our content connects with audiences globally. This leader will design and deliver global-first campaigns that are flexible enough to travel, while working hand-in-hand with local markets to make them culturally resonant and impactful. They will need to bring international experience, gravitas, and confidence to push the company toward new global standards of excellence. This role will be based in the US, but will require international travel. Key Responsibilities Global Campaign Strategy & Development • Drives overarching marketing strategy and planning, ensuring cohesive messaging and tactics, creative materials, media and campaign planning across the international originals slate. • Lead the creation and execution of international content marketing strategies for original shows, ensuring campaigns are bespoke, flexible, and scalable across markets. • Partner with local teams in EMEA, Canada, LATAM, and APAC to adapt global campaigns for cultural relevance and to address local audiences. • Guide positioning and creative strategies that enable titles without established IP build momentum and drive word-of-mouth. • Drive creative selection and development to promote International series for internal presentations Cross-Functional Influence & Alignment • Act as a leader across multiple teams in a complex, matrixed organization—building alignment between global marketing, local market leaders, the international content team, and platform teams. • Ensure the approach to this slate is aligned with the broader arenaflex+ and arenaflex brand strategy, brand consistently and tone of voice. • Partner with Content Development, Data & Insights, Programming, and Scheduling teams to evaluate business opportunities, analyze audience behavior, and determine campaign approaches that drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement, and influence Scheduling to optimize go-to-market approach and impact. • Serve as a key stakeholder in international title prioritization to ensure alignment with company priorities and audience growth strategies. • Influence budget and resource planning for international content marketing across markets in close collaboration with local markets and regional leaders. Performance & KPIs • Work closely with international content leaders to design and track international KPIs that reflect regional realities and business goals, ensuring they are differentiated from domestic measures where appropriate. • Partner with insights teams to evaluate campaign performance, optimize strategies in real time, and evolve approaches for long-term success. • Accountable for increasing viewership and engagement across the slate while ensuring alignment of resources and priorities across internal and external teams, stakeholders and partners. Experience • 10+ years of senior marketing experience with at least 5+ years in international content, entertainment, media, or streaming • Experience marketing non-English or multicultural content • Strong strategic capabilities utilizing consumer insights, data-informed decision making, understanding performance metrics, ROI, forecasts and measurement • Excellent creative judgment: storytelling, messaging, visuals, tailoring content to different markets • Exceptional communication abilities; able to influence senior leaders, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and proven record of leading and collaborating with globally distributed teams • Comfort with fast-paced, dynamic, changing environments • Sensitivity to cultural differences in content tastes, messaging, creative styles, regulatory environments The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $214,600 to $287,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
