Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate / Equipment Operator fulfills and processes orders, accepts incoming shipments, and oversees the general organization of the warehouse.

Shift: Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 8:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm

Pay range: $17-$18 per hour, depending on experience

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading freight in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Picking orders with RF gun for shipment and assemble various types of indoor/outdoor furniture to be shipped.
  • Operate material handling equipment, reach truck/picker, in a safe and efficient manner as required.
  • Maintains an accurate running inventory.
  • Restocks supplies and inventory; places blanket and special orders as needed.
  • Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy.
  • Records, reports, and returns defective items.
  • Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
  • Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment, reach truck/picker, in a safe and efficient manner as required.
  • Proficient with RF Scanning.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Required Education, Training and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
  • Must be able to lift, handle, and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work in varying weather environments.
