Weekend Event Captain / High-Energy Party Host ($30/hr + Tips)

<p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Calling all former camp counselors, teachers, elite babysitters, and performers! <em>Laser Tag At Your Place</em> (a venture of Popcode Studio) brings epic, pop-up laser tag adventures directly to backyards in East Atlanta. We are looking for charismatic "Event Captains" to run the show.</p><p><br></p><p>You'll set up the equipment and run the show, keeping kids entertained and having a good time playing laser tag. You'll come up with creative ways to keep the kids entertained as you deliver boring instructions. You will set up our lightweight pop-up arenas, sync the pro-grade laser tag gear, and lead groups of hyper 8-year-olds (or competitive adults) through 90-minute missions like <em>Capture the Flag</em> and <em>Zombie Ops</em>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Make:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>$100 per 90 minute event, up to 6 per weekend</strong></li><li><strong>Tips!</strong> (Parents tip great entertainers generously).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>You Are Perfect For This If:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>You have "Camp Counselor Energy":</strong> You know how to use a loud, projecting voice to command a crowd of 15 kids without sounding angry.</li><li><strong>You are theatrical & outgoing:</strong> You aren't afraid to be goofy, get into character, and make a kid's birthday unforgettable.</li><li><strong>You have the logistics:</strong> You own a reliable SUV, hatchback, or large vehicle (you will be transporting a few large storage totes of gear).</li><li><strong>You are reliable on weekends:</strong> You want to make great money on Saturdays and Sundays.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Reality Check</strong></p><p>If you are shy, soft-spoken, or looking for a quiet weekend job where you can look at your phone, <em>please do not apply.</em> This is a high-energy, on-your-feet, outdoor performance gig that will require enthusiastic engagement the entire time.</p>
